Ambition 2021 Plan: acquisition in the Space Industry
Le Plessis Robinson – 28 November 2018 – CS Group has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire MOLTEK Consultants Ltd.
MOLTEK was formed in 1995 and is an international technology and consulting organisation providing knowledge and resources in core skills to organisations within the Space Industry.
As a designer, integrator and operator of mission-critical systems, CS is an established international partner in the field of systems and services for space missions and applications. CS provides proven products and skills, successfully used for major space missions; launchers and satellites (from large to nano satellites), and for any type of orbit (Low Earth, Medium Earth, Sun Synchronous or Geostationary Earth Orbit, and also interplanetary and Deep Space orbits). Space activities currently represent 20% of CS Group revenues.
CS has ambitious growth objectives in the Space Industry in Europe. MOLTEK would be an ideal complement to CS Space activities and would allow CS to strengthen its positions and to deliver comprehensive services to its key clients, including European Space Agency and EUMETSAT. MOLTEK experts would benefit from wider opportunities created by the integration into CS Group, an organisation of about 2000 people, with leading market positions and complementary expertise.
This project would be a new step in the CS Ambition 2021 plan, which aims to achieve annual revenues of 300 M€ and an operating margin of 8% within 3 years, through organic growth, and external acquisitions targeting the defence, space and cybersecurity markets.
Closing would be completed i Q1 2019, subject to customary conditions precedents.
MOLTEK is an international technology and consulting organisation providing knowledge and resources in core skills to organisations within the Space, Defence, Aviation, Air traffic Management. MOLTEK was formed in 1995, specifically to provide dedicated and focused consulting services. MOLTEK services include consulting services, contract services, permanent recruitment, operations, facilities management and training. MOLTEK revenues are about 3.5 M€, with close to 30 Consultants staff on its payroll.
